Construction & Roofing

Use our skilled drone pilots for aerial measurement services, inspections and construction drone monitoring, receive fast, data-rich aerial photos to make informed and actionable decisions.

Powerful Benefits

Data Rich Information

Epic Earth Videography’s experienced FAA Certified Drone Pilots can fly a mission high above the job site, sending real-time information to the engineers and project managers on the ground, or collect data to provide orthomosaic 2D mapping or 3D models that digitally capture every inch of a project.

Stay On Time and On Budget

We  know that monitoring your construction project from breaking ground to opening day is critical to spotting potential problems and staying on time and within budget. From roofing and solar panel projects to large undertakings, such as infrastructure projects or multi-building complexes, drone aerial inspection and monitoring is an efficient and cost-effective way to stay on top of it all.

Less Risk and More Accuracy

Drones in construction are becoming common-place because of the fast results without risk to workers. In the past most aerial views of construction sites were obtained by helicopter photography. This method is costly and time-consuming and can no longer compete with UAVs. A drone’s fast flight time and close navigation on site is providing close-up shots of multiple areas around a site that couldn’t be seen before, bringing data to decision makers far quicker and with more accuracy.

Data Rich Information

Conduct quality assurance to ensure compliance with building codes. Keep track of job site inventory. Proactively identify areas where structural integrity may be a concern. Turn data into 3D models to provide a realistic look at the project. Inspect solar panels, roofing equipment and air conditioners. Conduct comprehensive safety inspections. Package your final results as a showcase for owners or investors

We will always customize your drone services package to fit your project requirements and special needs. We are fully insured for each mission, and provide  a secure and private site for delivering downloadable videos and data within minutes of the mission.

  • What areas do you serve?
We serve the greater Colorado area and Southern Wyoming for photogrammetry and large and long term commercial real estate, or corporate marketing projects, with a Denver to Ft. Collins focus, for residential real estate, roof and solar inspections and construction progress/monitoring. These local areas include: Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette, Erie, Broomfield, Longmont, Loveland, Lyons and Greeley.
  • Can you add graphics to our video?
Yes. We are happy to add any graphics you require and generally plan an opening or closing thumbnail image. Let us know your requirements or ideas and we’ll create it for you.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
Complete cancelation of a scheduled project (not rescheduling the flight) for a home or property requires a 3 hour notice, due to drive time and preparation. If under 3 hours a $50 fee will be charged.
  • How should I prepare for drone photography and videography?
Let us know up front of any special requirements for showcasing the property or site or any special target areas or building features you’d like photographed. Be sure to move any garbage cans if possible, from view and clean up natural debris and trash from the property. Move vehicles that may be blocking views of the property or are in the driveway. For homes, open all the curtains, shades and blinds, where possible. Note any large structures, poles or power lines that might be in the way of viewing or photographing your property. In many cases we can work around them, but it’s good to know and try to plan before arrival time. If it is extremely windy or raining on flight day, we may need to reschedule. Feel free to contact us if weather appears an issue in your area, if we don’t contact you first.
  • Do you offer drone fly-throughs?
Yes! We offer two types. One is a quick overview flight we call a Drone Glide-through. Usually we do a home reveal from 50-100 ft. exterior view, fly into the front door, with a quick overview flight of each floor and main living space, then out a back door or porch door with reverse reveal of the backyard and property. The second is a slow full Walk-through Tour of each room, hall and garage. This can take the place of Matterport type photos and is faster with more realistic views. Ask about the details of these options when we chat about your listing.
  • How quickly do you fly your missions?
We fly as soon as possible based on available scheduling times and site availability. Please book a free consultation for a time and no-obligation quote, or call us to schedule your project as soon as possible.
  • Who owns the data that you collect?
Epic Earth Videography owns all data collected using our technology unless otherwise specified by the client and agreed to before the mission.
  • What is your rescheduling policy for Residential RE?
Epic Earth Videography generally needs a lead time of 1-2 days for scheduling a shoot, and the same again to reschedule the shoot. It depends on the season and schedule availability. Please contact us immediately if you must reschedule. If we need to reschedule your shoot due to weather conditions there is no rescheduling fee.
  • Do you have Use Permissions?
There is a copyright permissions and terms agreement as part of the estimate/invoicing process, so that you may use the video/s and/or photos for marketing purposes.
  • What is your average turnaround time?
Residential real estate turn around is generally 3-24 hours after flight completion, up to 48 if we fly on weekends. We always maintain an “as soon as possible” mindset and will try to meet any urgent deadlines.
  • How will I access my data?
